Volunteer Option Descriptions

• Tribe Leader: Lead a group of children through the various activities they experience each night at VBS.  And lead an opening and closing small group time with your group allowing kids to learn and review the daily theme, Bible story, and memory verse.
• Tribe Assistant: Assist the Tribe Leader as they lead a group of children throughout the week.
• Marketplace Crafts: Assist children in completing a craft project each night
• Marketplace Snacks: Prepare and serve themed snacks to children each night and help keep the kitchen and snack area clean
• Marketplace Missions: Introduce and involve children in the mission project for the week.
• Drama Team: Portray the Apostle Paul or one of his companions in real life dramas that bring Paul's story to life.
• Arena Games: Lead children in various themed games each night.  We will play outside whenever weather permits, but do have an alternative indoor space if needed.
• Welcome & Registration: Greet participants each night and help them connect with their tribe.  You'll also make sure we have full and accurate registration information, including an emergency contact.
• Decorating Crew: Help transform the rooms and halls of the church into Rome for the week of VBS
• Photographer: Capture the stories, surprises, and smiles of VBS Rome in photos we can share and remember
