“God’s work. Our hands.” Sunday is an opportunity to celebrate who we are as the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America – one church, freed in Christ to serve and love our neighbor. Service activities offer an opportunity for us to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that all of life in Jesus Christ – every act of service, in every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.
This year as we focus on Living the Story, what better way to spend God's Work Our Hands day then with acts of service involving reading and books.
Join us in sharing the Good News and some good stories with the residents at Hattie Larlham, or grab a carload of friends and family and a box of books to re-stock some of Cleveland's Little Free Libraries. Don't worry, we'll provide the books and a route map for a few libraries so you can complete the task. Sign up today for the project of your choice!
There's a place for YOU here, we do better together!
