Meet the Clutters

Do you know the Clutters?
Tommy and Mary (Sima) Clutter drive an amazing distance from Canton to worship with us at Advent, probably because they want to spend Sundays with Jim and Mary Ann Sima, Mary’s parents, and Doug and Lori Burchard, Mary’s sister. Tommy and Mary were married at Advent July 5, 2003, having met at a mutual friend’s birthday party. Tommy graduated from Glen Oak High School in Canton, and the University of Akron, where he majored in computer science. He works for Snap-on Business Solutions.  Mary attended Solon H.S. and graduated from Kent, and the Law School at the University of Akron.  She’s the staff attorney for 2 judges in Tuscarawas County. Tommy loves basketball; Mary loves gardening and travel. Together they are active in PTO and many activities for their children: Mariana, 12; Jimmy, 10; and Elena, 6. Mariana’s going into 7th grade and enjoys dance and clarinet. Jimmy the 5th grader is a budding ventriloquist and musician (stringed instruments). Elena is starting 1st grade, and loves dance and puzzles.
We are blessed to count on the Clutters participating at all the Advent events that involve family fun.
