What a year this has been!
​We are so grateful for the ongoing work of this church. More than ever, we need stories of hope as we do God’s work in the world — together. We are pleased to share with you the latest issue of “Stories of Faith in Action,” filled with inspiring stories from this past year.

Back to School Prayer station

You're invited to join us in a very special way of supporting our students and teachers as the new school year gets started.  Come and chalk our sidewalks with prayers of encouragement and hope for our students and teachers, share your personal prayers for the upcoming year with us, and pick up a card with a prayer for students and teachers you can use throughout the year. 
​It will all be ready and available to you here at Advent beginning August 8 through August 22.

"Out the Door"
Blessings for your children

What if instead of "See you later," we sent our kids off to school with a reminder of God's presence with them everywhere they go.  Send your kids out the door to school each day with a reminder that God is ALWAYS with them, no matter what.  Choose a blessing like, "Remember you are Child of God, and I love you!" or "May God, who created you, give you peace and courage today," or choose another blessing you like from our "Out the Door" blessings for your children and use it consistently throughout the year.  It's a great way to remind you to be praying for them everyday and to remind them that they are never alone.  Click on the guide below to view/print the complete resource.
