Meet Larry & Kathy

Larry and Kathy Ciganek joined Advent in the fall 2017, transferring in from Church of the Master in Bedford. They live in Walton Hills and have two adult sons, Michael and James.
Larry is a retired patternmaker for metal castings, and Kathy is retired from directing activities in nursing homes.
Larry graduated from Central High in West Allis WI, and then Milwaukee Technical College. Kathy graduated from Pulaski High School in Milwaukee WI, and college in Freeport IL.
How did you meet? Cruising around in a convertible! Wow!
They married at the justice of the peace’s office in Waukegan, IL. January 22, 1964.
Larry’s passions include restoring old cars and yard work.
​Kathy is more of a reader of fiction.
Right now they are leading a quiet life, and really miss being able to attend Advent.
